Jeremy Renner walks Red Carpet just Three Months after his Accident

Since being seriously hurt by a snowplow near his Nevada home in January, actor Jeremy Renner has made his first red carpet appearance.

Tuesday saw the Los Angeles debut of Renner’s new Disney+ reality series, “Rennervations.” Renner “reimagines” decommissioned government cars for the episode, which was shot before his injury, and distributes them to help kids in undeserved areas.

When asked by CNN how it felt to be at the event, Renner responded, “It’s a lot of things for me personally. “I sense that the joke about what I’ve been doing with my time is finally being understood by everybody. It has an odd, fantastic, odd feeling. I never imagined that, even at the age of 52, I would still have dreams. I suppose I did them in a way. But hey, it’s great when your dreams come true. There is yet more magic to be discovered, and I am really thankful to be here to do it.

Renner suffered 14 fractured ribs, a damaged eye socket, a broken knee, a collapsed lung, and a punctured liver as a result of the accident in which he was pushed beneath the moving plow. In the months following, he has posted updates on his health on social media.

After the screening on Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel led a conversation in which he humorously questioned Renner about his intentions with “that fu**ing snowblower.”

It’s a snowcat, said Renner in reply. And it’s essential for the area in which I reside.
