A free VPN has been offered by Opera to its iOS Browser

Introducing the FLIP ULTRA from O2VAPE

Users of Opera’s iOS browser may now browse the web anonymously and prevent data gathering thanks to the addition of a free VPN.

When using websites and online services, people might become targets for data collection. Unfortunately, many businesses don’t disclose how they store and use the data.

It’s a significant enough security concern that Apple created iCloud Private Relay, which protects browsing privacy with options including hiding a user’s exact location. However, Private Relay needs a premium iCloud+ subscription, isn’t a true VPN, and only functions in Safari.

A real VPN won’t make you anonymous, but if the VPN service doesn’t save any data, it can protect your online browsing from prying eyes. For instance, Opera claims that its newest feature is a no-log service that doesn’t gather personal information, details on users’ browsing patterns, or information about their originating network address.

A built-in adblocker in Opera’s free VPN can speed up surfing and protect users from intrusive adverts. Additionally, users won’t have to worry about the resources on their device being taken over for cryptocurrency mining thanks to Opera’s built-in Cryptojacking Protection.

To start utilizing it, users only need to download the Opera Browser for iOS and turn on the VPN in the app. It requires iPadOS 12.0 or later and iOS.

All clients will have access to VPN after the deployment is complete in the next weeks.

There will be two further improvements to Opera Browser for iOS in addition to the new VPN service.

With the help of the Bookmarks feature and the browser’s Speed Dial functionality, users may more efficiently manage their online life by having rapid access to the most important information. Football fans may now see Live Scores on the browser’s homepage.
