While filming an action sequence, Amitabh Bachchan was hurt

Amitabh Bachchan, one of India’s most well-known actors, claims he was hurt on the set, causing “difficult” breathing and movement.

In Hyderabad, India, during filming an action sequence for his new film “Project K, ” Bachchan, 80, said he tore a muscle and cartilage in his ribcage.

The seasoned actor wrote in a post on his official blog on Sunday that he is recovering at home in Mumbai and that it would take a few weeks.

Bachchan, who has appeared in roughly 200 films over the course of a career spanning more than five decades, is admired by millions of people all over the world.

Many of his followers embarked on a hunger strike when he had a potentially fatal injury on the set in 1982, and one even walked 482 kilometers (300 miles) backwards to pray for his recovery.

He had to go through Egyptian immigration in his hotel room in 2015 due to the uproar he generated at the Cairo airport.

At the time, Bachchan wrote on his blog, “The swarmed situation at the airport was so unmanageable that I had to be carried away. For the first time ever for an airline passenger, my passport, customs, and immigration procedures were completed in my hotel room.

With the 1969 release of the Hindi-language film “Saath Hindustani,” which translates to “Seven Indians,” Bachchan made his Bollywood debut. With the 1978 hit movie “Don,” in which he played the title character, he became a superstar.

Bachchan has continuously reinvented himself for his viewers throughout his distinguished career by appearing in a variety of family, action, and drama films.

On discussing his art with CNN in 2007, he said: “I think it’s crucial for actors to continue to be pushed every day. When a creative person declares they have accomplished all they wish to, it is a sad time for them. I enjoy getting the pit in my stomach, going home and having a sleepless night, and wondering how I’m going to pull this off.

Bachchan is wed to politician and actress Jaya Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan, their son, is wed to actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai.
