Taylor Lautner makes rare comment about ex Taylor Swift
This is a genuine story about the Taylors because when actor Taylor Lautner‘s wife, Taylor Dome, reacted to his spilling the beans about the famed Taylor Swift and Kanye West MTV VMAs event, it made us all laugh.
Dome asked Lautner, “If you could go back to one time in your life, what moment would that be and what would you say to yourself?” in a video from their podcast “The Squeeze” that was uploaded on Tik Tok on Wednesday.
When he responded, “Probably the 2009 VMAs, when I gave the award to Taylor and wasn’t know that the Kanye thing wasn’t a skit,” his Dome literally recoiled in shock and exclaimed, “I’m deceased.”
I’ll let you continue, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time, West, now known as “Ye,” famously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech on stage.
Dome noted that Lautner and Swift, who had a brief relationship in 2009, had recently made their connection public.
West jumped on stage as Swift was speaking, according to Lautner, who said that after handing Swift the trophy, he “took five steps back and was standing five feet behind her.”
“I hardly hear it at all. Lautner remarked, “I can’t see them. “I’m just assuming that this whole thing was a practiced and rehearsed skit because Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift on stage is inconsistent with any other scenario. It didn’t make sense at all.
Swift turned around, and it wasn’t until he saw her face that he understood that wasn’t what Lautner had planned.
In 2016, Lautner acknowledged that he served as Swift’s inspiration for the song “Back to December” from 2010. Last year, he and Dome were married.
