Following his earlier this month accident involving a snowplow and more than 30 fractured bones, Jeremy Renner has started physical therapy to help him recover.

The Mayor of Kingstown actor, who was released from the hospital earlier this week, shared a snapshot of himself on Instagram early on Saturday morning as he lay in bed with his eyes closed while having his knee stretched.

“Resolutions and early exercises both changed this particular New Year’s. Born out of sadness for my entire family and immediately concentrated on bringing people together in love, “Renner wrote the post’s caption. “I want to express my gratitude to EVERYONE for their kind words and consideration for my family and I. I love and appreciate you all very much. Just as the love and relationship with family and friends become stronger, these more than 30 fractured bones will heal. Regards and blessings to everyone.”

Fans and celebrities, such as Heidi Klum, Jason Momoa, Eiza González, and Chris Hemsworth, showered him with love and support in the comments area of his post. Chris Hemsworth said, “Friend, you are a champion! I adore you.”

Renner’s remark was retweeted by Chris Evans, who commended his friend’s fortitude and added, “That man is a real fighter. Has the snowcat been examined at all? I’m sending my love to you.”

Renner was crushed by a snowplow on his Nevada farm on New Year’s Day, suffering acute chest damage and orthopedic wounds. He had stepped out of the plow to meet with a family member who was trapped in the snow when it ran him over, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.

The actor was taken to a nearby hospital and had surgery the next day for his injuries even though he was conscious when first responders arrived.

Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam stated at a news conference on January 3 that investigators are looking into what caused the snowplow to move but “do not suspect any foul activity,” adding, “We feel this was a sad accident.”

The next day, Renner uploaded a picture of himself in the hospital and thanked everyone for their good wishes. He wrote, “Thank you everybody for your nice sentiments. “I’m currently too messed up to type. But I send you all my love.”
